Required Formatting

Fonts
a) The normal font of a paper should be Arial, size 12, and black. 

b) When using a long quote, indented about one inch and use font of black, Times New Roman, and sized 11 or 12. 

c) Make the title and subtitle any readable font.  Use sizes that will take up less that than two inches vertically.  The subtitle should be smaller than the title but larger than the normal text. 

Spaces and Margins
a)  All papers must be double-spaced, including indented quotes. 

b) Make the margins one inch - top, bottom, left, and right. 

c) Do NOT leave blank lines between paragraphs.


g) Align the body of the paper LEFT, not full.  Center or left-align the title. 

Graphics

A picture or graphic is allowed (but not required) on the cover page. 

There will be no pictures on regular pages.  If charts or other graphics are needed, they must appear on a separate, unnumbered page. 

Complete Draft: 30 Points


Complete means:
that the draft should now contain all the information that you intend to put in it,

that your arguments are now fully developed,

that both the information and the arguments are organized logically according to subtopics you have developed, and

that the paper meets the required length. 


Works Cited and Crediting: 15 Points

This includes both crediting your sources in the body of your paper (that which is done in parentheses) and also correctly creating a Works Cited Section.
